TNA podcast - Marriages 1700-1836

The latest National Archives (www.nationalarchives.gov.uk) podcast from Kew is entitled Tracing marriages; legal requirements and actual practice, 1700-1836 - I've not listened to it yet, so not sure if this predominantly deals with the situation in England and Wales, going by the dates, as English and Welsh civil registration commenced in 1837. There were some fairly substantial differences with the equivalent in Scotland.

The podcast is at http://media.nationalarchives.gov.uk/index.php/tracing-marriages-legal-requirements-and-actual-practice-1700-1836/ or downloadable from iTunes.
